It was foggy morning years ago, the fog washed out almost all of the color in a path with grasses to the sea. It was quiet and serene standing in the sand.

Abstracted image of landscape featuring clouds and rain. This painting was inspired by a stay in Sequim, Washington. We could see the sky and the water from the house where we were staying. The view changed constantly showing beautiful colors in the sky and the water regardless of the weather.

I travel often to Sequim, Washington. This view is of Dungeness Bay the marsh area. It was a beautiful day and I painted the colors I saw. Artist grade Casein paint is milk protein based. The little tubes are great for travel. Yes, you can prop the print on a table or desk.

As I worked to put texture on the wall of the red building the texture took on a realistic look of nature. The focus became the division between an urban and a natural setting.

Did you notice the water behind the boat house? I don't think the boat has been hauled to land lately as the flowers have grown up in front of the building.

original is a 5×7 Relief print on white paper. Mounted on board.
Giclee prints and cards available. I am so happy with the “linoleum”, a term a bit like xerox, I carved as it made a very clear print. That’s why I have made a copy of that relief print so that I could offer the larger prints and cards.
